Was SIE wollen, bekommen SIE. Wenn SIE es nicht tun, tut es niemand. SIE können verlieren, aber das bedeutet nur, dass sie weiter kämpfen werden. Mit ihren bunten Röcken sind sie wie Blumen auf dem Asphalt. Und natürlich sind sie stärker als alle Männer der Welt. Sie sind Cholitas und sie sind Wrestlerinnen. Sie kämpfen auf der Bühne und zeigen uns, dass sich die Welt verändern kann. Lucha Libre (Wrestling) ist eine Mischung aus Sport, Theater und Performance. Wir lernen Rosita „die Herzensbrecherin“, Carmen „die Meisterin“, Yolanda „die Leidenschaftliche“ und Claudina „die Verurteilte“ kennen.

What THEY want, THEY get. If THEY don’t do it, nobody does it. THEY can lose, but that just means that they will continue fighting. With their colourful glittering skirts, THEY are like flowers on the tarmac. And of course, THEY are stronger than all the men in the world. THEY are Cholitas and they are wrestlers. THEY fight on the stage to show us that this world can change. Lucha Libre (Wrestling) is a mix of sport, theatre, and choreography. We get to know Rosita the Heartbreaker, Carmen Rosa the Champion, Yolanda the Passionate and Claudina the Condemned.
